We loved the convenience to everything and the unit is beautiful. Everything is very well organized and stocked. We had a problem with the pool heater not working. Several pool techs came to service the unit and unfortunately it was finally fixed the day before we had to leave. The owners refunded some of our rental because of this. We would definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic rental! Private pool, short walk to the beach, all the beach equipment you could possibly want, lots of space, beautiful beachy decor, great central location. We will definitely return!

Could not pick a better beach house! This was our second time staying here and we definitely will again and again! It’s in a perfect location, near the beach and all of the shops. 11 minute drive from St. Armand’s square which is great for shopping. The pool is gorgeous and everything is brand new and well maintained. There’s wifi & and a Netflix account hooked up for the guests to use. The owners also have bikes for the guests to scoot around on, which we used just about every day.

What a great property. The location is great. The set up of the house is perfect. The decor of the house is beautiful. The pool area was a big hit with both adults and kids. We also appreciated the items available for us to use in the garage, the wagon was very helpful and the bikes were used also.

This is a wonderful vacation home. It is clean, well equipped, and exactly as advertised. It is literally a one minute walk to the beach with many beach supplies provided, including umbrellas, chairs, sand toys for the kids, and a great beach wagon to pile everything into. The bikes were all in good condition with baskets and locks. The pool is lovely and private and was cleaned twice a week. Plenty of bath and beach towels were provided. The management company is on the ball also. If any issue arises during your stay, a tech is sent immediately to correct the problem. The photos of this rental are truly accurate. What you see is what you get. Lovely property!

My husband and I just got back from our 2 week vacation at the Salt Shack. The house was amazing and the tropical landscaping was peaceful and beautiful!. It truly is an island oasis. The house had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach made this home extra special. This particular beach access point was never crowded. It was one of the most relaxing and memorable vacations we’ve ever had. Can’t wait for our next stay at the Salt Shack! Highly recommend!!

My wife, daughter and her pet bulldog stayed in the Salt Shack from Jan 7 to Jan 28, 2017. I cannot say how pleased we were with this facility. Clean, spacious, well laid out, well equipped, close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and groceries, heated pool, everything was just fantastic. In our 3 week stay we probably ate out half the time and used the barbecue at the Salt Shack the other half. We would definitely rent the Salt Shack again. Thank you to the owners for providing such a lovely facility.

My family of 6 loved this place! The house was amazing, and it was equipped with everything! Including almost everything in the kitchen you would need, a lot of towels, throws, wash clothes and everything you need for the beach. The pool and landscaping was great too! We have rented a lot of houses, but this was absolutely our favorite! Thank you Salt Shack for making our vacation wonderful.

Just spent the week there with my wife, son, and another family. The house was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. Close to a bunch of good restaurants, short walk to the beach, and had its own private pool. Also very nice to have grocery store within walking distance. It is perfect for two families and the setup is great for the little ones. Would definitely recommend.

We have traveled all over the World and have stayed at two places we have really enjoyed…”The Salt Shack” and a cabin looking out on the Grand Tetons….. We found this to be a home away from home. My wife’s first comment was “I could live here” when we walked into the private entry and seeing the pool, surrounded by a landscape that assures absolute privacy! The main entrance into the “Salt Shack” just draws you in and feels like home! Everything is just perfect from the comfy beds in the large rooms, openness of the home and pool is perfect. The “perfect location” from the closeness to the beach, shopping and great restaurants. The bikes make it easy to go to breakfast at “Peaches” or grab the best burgers at “Skinnies” of just explore the island. The sunsets are spectacular and the water is crystal clear with powder white beach….. just perfect! We look forward to our next stay at this perfect little piece of heaven!
